JOXU EDGE

Remote OTA.

The coupled SuperMini pulls the catalog image on its next outbound poll, writes the inactive slot and reboots. Use USB only if the board has never reported a version, or if this job fails.

The Edge card shows On this board, Current JOXU and Firmware: Update available.
  1. Check Update available

On Devices the Edge card compares On this board with Current JOXU. Update available means the catalog is newer. USB install needed for OTA means flash over USB once first.

  2. Open Manage device

Confirm the versions on the workbench. Read board version refreshes the last heartbeat without queuing a job.

Manage device: password, then Update to the catalog version. Leave Erase alone — this is not USB.
  1. Confirm your JOXU password

The same password field is required for the enrollment code, Couple and remote update. Starting OTA is an owner action, not a public download.

  2. Queue Update to …

Click Update to the catalog version. The job is offered ahead of EMS stands. The board downloads firmware.bin over HTTPS, verifies it and reboots itself.

The notice says the update is queued. After reboot, On this board matches Current.
  1. Wait for Current

Status moves through queued and Updating…. A heartbeat with the new version completes the job. If it errors or times out after ten minutes, use USB recovery.
